Football team gives ClemsonLIFE students a day to remember

Clemson’s football team decided to make the days of several ClemsonLIFE students recently, inviting the group to practice, handing the students gear, signing autographs for them and, the best treat of all, giving their bus a police escort to Memorial Stadium.

There, coach Dabo Swinney gave the students — who are part of the school’s college program for intellectually disabled adults seeking higher education — the chance to live every Tiger fan’s dream and run down the hill for their stadium entrance.

It is hard not to be moved when seeing the looks of excitement on the students’ faces, and especially when hearing them speak afterward.
