Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney has more than just a playoff game to be excited for.
His Tigers earned the final spot in the College Football Playoff with their ACC Championship victory over SMU Saturday night. They will head to Austin to take on Texas in the first round and Molly McGrath of ESPN reported that Swinney excitedly exclaimed "I'm gonna meet Matthew McConaughey" after hearing the placement.
McConaughey is a professor of practice at Texas and is a consistent presence on the Longhorns sidelines during the season.
