Forward Mark Mitchell will enter the NCAA transfer portal after two seasons as a starter for Duke, On3's Joe Tipton reported.
The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 11.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game for the Blue Devils last season.
Formerly ranked as a five-star recruit by 247Sports, Mitchell started 67 games for Duke over two seasons.
Mitchell's exit will further thin out the Duke frontcourt. The Blue Devils are losing Christian Reeves to the transfer portal, Ryan Young to eligibility and Kyle Filipowski to the NBA draft.
The program has been preparing for these roster losses "for months," according to Adam Rowe of 247Sports.
