The Clemson Tigers have been the class of the ACC in 2015, and their head coach was richly rewarded as a result. According to Mark Berman of the Roanoke Times, Dabo Swinney won ACC Coach of the Year.
Swinney helped lead Clemson to its fifth-straight 10-plus-win season, and the Tigers are one victory away from the College Football Playoff:
Coach | Team | First-Place Votes |
Dabo Swinney | Clemson | 27 |
Larry Fedora | North Carolina | 21 |
Jimbo Fisher | Florida State | 1 |
Pat Narduzzi | Pittsburgh | 1 |
"It's really special," Swinney said of the team's strong 2015 season to date, per Steve Phillips for TheACC.
