CLEMSON, S.C. -- It came time for Clemson coach Dabo Swinney to take the podium and give some remarks about breaking ground on a new $55 million football facility that he helped become a reality.
He looked out at the supporters gathered and paused, fighting back tears.
"I've been full of emotion the whole year," Swinney said.
Not only does he have his Clemson Tigers in position to make the College Football Playoff as the No. 1 team in the country headed into Saturday's crucial game against Florida State, he has been able to sell the vision he's had for the program.
