We humbly turn our eyes back to you, ACC Coastal Division. Before the season, it was thought the Atlantic could give us all the chaos you offered and more. If Clemson, Florida State and Louisville all held home court in their round robin, there would be an ACC logjam in the Atlantic and playoff picture.
Atlantic Anarchy.
That fairy-tale scenario ended with the stroke of midnight Oct. 2. Clemson is the Atlantic Division winner barring anything short of a complete meltdown. The hope was for chaos, overlooking the division that was branded with the albatross.
Chaos is the patois shared only by the selected seven of the Coastal, which has had four different division winners in the last five seasons.
