Clemson's running game remains stuck in neutral

CLEMSON, S.C. -- If Clemson running back Wayne Gallman picked up a carton of milk this week and found his photo pasted on the side, it might not come as a huge surprise. He's been largely missing from the Tigers' game plan for weeks.

In fact, Gallman, who set the school record for rushing yardage in 2015, has had fewer than 60 yards in each of his last three games. He had just two such games all of last season. And while co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott said a pass-heavy offense has been a product of the scheme opponents are utilizing, the slow start for one of the Tigers' offensive stars has been a concern.
