Clemson's D.J. Reader may not see action against Miami

CLEMSON, S.C. -- Clemson got some good news last week when it learned that defensive tackle D.J. Reader would return to the team after missing two months while attending to personal matters. But while coach Dabo Swinney said Reader will make the trip, he isn’t promising the veteran will be back on the field for Saturday’s game at Miami.

“We’ve got to be smart with him,” Swinney said. “We’ll get him some inside work and fundamentals and work him today and tomorrow. He’s been out, and we have a group that’s game ready. I don’t know if he’ll play much, if at all, this weekend.
