CLEMSON, S.C. -- Daniel Stone knew Morgan Helmendach was the one. The couple will celebrate two years of dating in a little more than a week, on Dec. 1. But to ask for Helmendach’s hand in marriage, Stone wanted to be creative.
“So for the past couple of weeks I’ve been trying to come up with an idea of how to make this really special,” the Clemson offensive tackle said. “So (I) kind of figured out the whole Senior Day, gonna come down one at a time, get special recognition, so I thought to myself: What better way to kind of show off how special the Clemson family is and start my own family here at Clemson in Death Valley?
