Now is not a good time to be a member of the Miami Hurricanes.
On Saturday afternoon, the University of Miami suffered its worst loss in program history, a 58-0 beat down at the hands of the No. 6 Clemson Tigers.
According to Westwood One Sports' Jason Horowitz, it breaks a school record for the worst shutout loss, which was a 52-0 affair against Howard College in 1927. Howard College is now known as Samford.
It is also the largest margin of defeat in Hurricanes history, per CBSSports.com's Jon Solomon, as it breaks the record previously held by a 70-14 loss to Texas A&M in 1944.
