The second College Football Playoff rankings provided more of the same for the ACC: Clemson is in great position at No. 2; and Louisville still needs some help.
Though the Cards moved up one spot to No. 6 thanks to Texas A&M’s loss, they remain behind No. 4 Washington and No. 5 Ohio State.
What has become increasingly obvious are the various problems Louisville will have to overcome to make it into the playoff as the first ever at-large team. Winning out won’t be enough. Neither will more blowout victories.
There is a Big Ten problem: Michigan sits at No.
