There’s nothing like a little Southern hospitality in the midst of a hurricane, as a couple of Notre Dame fans found out this past Sunday.
After their Irish lost 24-22 to Clemson in Death Valley, Notre Dame fans Larry and Tony Luppi tried to hike nearly 10 miles in the rain after their shuttle never arrived. Resting up at a gas station along the route, they happened upon Tigers assistant coach Robbie Caldwell.
