It was only a year ago that the Tigers took their turn as the plucky, free-spirited counterpoint to the rigid and structured Alabama process. Dabo Swinney, his boundless enthusiasm, quotable phrases (ahem, guts) and joie de vivre made Clemson the most exciting team to watch in college football.
Often, the Tigers were the most unpredictable, but that is what made last season so fun. Clemson went from No. 12 preseason to the national championship game, and every step along the way, Swinney and his team made sure to celebrate the journey.
