North Carolina did not need to beat Duke Saturday night to clinch the No. 1 seed and the regular-season ACC title.

The Tar Heels earned those two honors earlier in the day when Louisville defeated Notre Dame. But there was no let up from North Carolina, as it gained revenge over the Blue Devils with a 90-83 victory. North Carolina had lost to Duke earlier in the year at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The Tar Heels are in a familiar position.
