Clemson held steady at No. 4 in the College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday. Louisville, meanwhile, took the nation's second-biggest hit this week, dropping from No. 5 to No. 11. Only Utah dropped further, from No. 12 to No. 22.
It is now Tigers or bust for the ACC's playoff hopes in 2016.
Record: 10-1 (7-1 ACC)
Rank: No. 4
Biggest obstacle: South Carolina is a rivalry game, and the Gamecocks have been a solid 6-5 in coach Will Muschamp's debut season. Still, the Tigers are 24-point favorites, so we shouldn't overstate how good of a game this could be.
