Duke's DeVon Edwards and Wake Forest's Ryan Janvion are among the dozen finalists for the William V. Campbell Trophy, which recognizes the nation’s top scholar-athlete.
The inclusion of Edwards, a fifth-year Blue Devils safety, and Janvion, a redshirt senior Demon Deacons safety, makes the ACC one of two leagues to have multiple players selected. It joins the Mid-American Conference, which has quarterbacks Cooper Rush (Central Michigan) and Zach Terrell (Western Michigan).
Edwards has a chance to become the second Duke winner in three years after David Helton took home the honors in 2014.
