With the college football season set to kickoff with five games this Saturday, the Associated Press has released their preseason All-America teams. The AP has announced their first and second team units, with a several ACC players getting the nod.
Multiple players from Clemson, Florida State, NC State and Virginia made the cut, as well as a few others. Perhaps it's not a major surprise, but most of the players came on the defensive side of the ball. Check out the 10 players below.

Offense
All-purpose player - Quadree Henderson, Jr., Pitt
Defense
DE - Bradley Chubb, Sr., NC State
DT - Dexter Lawrence, So., Clemson
CB - Tavarus McFadden, Jr., Florida State
S - Derwin James, Jr., Florida State

SECOND TEAM
Offense
QB - Lamar Jackson, Jr., Louisville
All-purpose player - Jaylen Samuels, Sr., NC State
Defense
DT - Christian Wilkins, Jr., Clemson
LB - Micah Kiser, Sr., Virginia
S - Quin Blanding, Sr., Virginia
Last year's Heisman winner, Lamar Jackson, finds himself on the second team instead the first team. That distinction belongs to USC's Sam Darnold, who is the preseason favorite to win the award this year.

A majority of the ACC's All-Americans come from the defensive line, which isn't a huge surprise as the conference is loaded with young stars along the defensive front. Both all-purpose players also come from the conference, showing the versatility and athleticism of the ACC's top playmakers.
