DES MOINES, Iowa — Drake University hosted the 114th Drake Relays that featured athletes from all over the world including a selection from the Bulldog Track and Field squad.
A pair of Bulldogs competed in the WACT Invitational events at the Drake Relays. Isaac Basten set a school record in the 800 with a time of 1:46.89, good enough for fifth place. In the field, Anthony Barmes took seventh in the WACT invitational hammer throw after uncorking a toss of 69.28m/227-3.
Juan Trasobares (3:47.82) got sixth in the unseeded men's 1500 while Aziz JDai (8:59.
