Madison — If Wisconsin center Dan Voltz is comfortable wearing a brace on his left arm and can avoid aggravating the injury he suffered in the final seconds at Nebraska, the Badgers should be able to avoid starting a fifth offensive line combination in seven games when they host Purdue on Saturday.
Voltz appeared to injure his left elbow with nine seconds left in the 23-21 victory over the Cornhuskers. He went down on UW's final offensive play of the game, however, and the Badgers didn't need to reshuffle their line.
"We will find out more through practice and all that," head coach Paul Chryst said Monday when asked about Voltz's availability this week against visiting Purdue.
