GROVE CITY, Ohio – Sophomore Megha Vallabhaneni jumped up nine spots and sits tied for fifth heading into the final round of the 2024 Mid-American Conference Championship.
The Northville, Mich., native shot a 74, shaving off four strokes from her opening-round total, and sits tied with Northern Illinois' Emily Romancew and Ball State's Sarah Gallagher at 152 (+8). Vallabhaneni was even par on the back nine, including birdie on the par-four 15th hole. She leads the tournament with 24 pars through 36 holes.
The Broncos ended the second round with three golfers in the top 20.
