The Washington Nationals may have the best young closer in all of baseball with Drew Storen. It's hard to believe the kid has been here for only a year and already has such a huge presence on the team.
The Nats were very fortunate to get Drew Storen and Stephen Strasburg in the same draft and to hit on both guys. Storen goes into the game against the New York Mets today with an MLB best 21 consecutive scoreless innings pitched and the look of a seasoned veteran. He is 9 for 9 in saves with a 0.38 ERA and has allowed 2 runs this season with only 1 being earned.
If he continues to pitch this well I don't see how he could be left off the NL All-Star team. What do you think?
