Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio was taken to the Erie County Medical Center for observation after an unusual encounter with police, according to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News.
"According to a police source, Kouandjio was found, not fully clothed, in a field after climbing over an electric fence," Carucci wrote. "When an Erie County Sheriff's deputy went to detain him, the source said, the 6-foot-7, 322-pound Kouandjio yelled, 'Shoot me!'"
The Bills released a statement following the incident.
"We are aware of the matter involving Cyrus and are carefully monitoring his condition and gathering more information," the statement noted.
