Tonight’s game felt almost nostalgic in how much it was just an endless parade of being kicked in the beans at Oakland Coliseum until Corey Seager finally broke through to rescue us from the foul mood that going 20 consecutive innings without scoring a run against the 2024 Oakland A’s had put everyone in.
One day soon the Rangers will never return to the Coliseum and that will be a day to rejoice, though I would be lying if I said it won’t leave me a little wistful that such a tradition of madness will be lost.
