The Texas Rangers' left-handed depth in the bullpen has taken a major hit, as reliever Neal Cotts won't re-sign with the ballclub, per a report by Anthony Andro of Fox Sports Southwest:
While the Rangers are still in the market for bullpen help it won't come by resigning lefty Neal Cotts. Going to sign elsewhere.

Here's Lone Star Ball's Adam J. Morris with what this news means for the Rangers' bullpen construction in 2015:
While the Rangers have a lot of options in the bullpen from the right side in 2015, the internal options from the left side right now are primarily Robbie Ross and Alex Claudio, although Ross Detwiler, who is getting a chance to earn a spot in the rotation, could end up in the bullpen, especially now that Yovani Gallardo has been added to the team.
Cotts, 34, went from posting an unreal 1.11 ERA in 57 innings for the Rangers in 2013 to a 4.32 ERA in 2014 (66 innings), mainly due to a sharp dropoff in strikeouts coupled with giving up three times more home runs than he gave up in 2013.
