Bold Prediction wrap-up.
Well, the bold prediction from friday was just that, bold. Milos Raonic won the first set against Gael Monfils in the semis, but was broken early in the second and third sets. Raonic, disagreeing with my prediction, decided to lose. Monfils moved on. James Blake also decided to not let me be right, losing to Jarrko Nieminen in straights. Both predictions were wrong. Monfils and Niemenin battled in the final where The Frenchman Monfils prevailed. C'est la vie.
On to the Bold (but true) statement of the day.
Roger Federer will win the Swiss Indoors, beating Novak Djokovic in the final, also, Federer, notoriously great on carpet, will win the ATP year-end tournament for the umpteenth time. So that being said, Djokovic will lose at least two more times in 2011. Bold you say? I say you don't bet against 16 Grand Slam Titles.
