The 2023 Frisco Bowl matchup is set.
The UTSA Roadrunners and Marshall Thundering Herd will square off in Frisco, TX — a suburb of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex — on Tuesday, Dec. 19.
The 2023 Frisco Bowl marks the fourth meeting between the programs. Marshall claims a 2-1 lead in the all-time series, winning the initial matchup in 2013 as well as the latest one in 2018, while UTSA edged the Thundering Herd in 2017.
UTSA (8-4, 7-1 AAC) overcame a 1-3 start to non-conference play and thoroughly dominated AAC competition to start 7-0 in league play.
