Jannik Sinner rallied past Daniil Medvedev in five sets Sunday to win the Australian Open and claim his first career Grand Slam title.
The fourth-seeded Sinner dropped the first two sets before staging a furious comeback for a 3-6, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-3 victory over the third-seeded Medvedev.
Sinner, 22, became the first Italian to win an Australian Open title.
