USA WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TIES PROGRAM RECORD IN WIN OVER FAULKNER

MOBILE, Ala. – With 19 three-pointers, the University of South Alabama women's basketball team worked its way to a 40-point win over Faulkner at the Mitchell Center on Tuesday.

The 91-51 victory was due in part to Jordan Rosier, who accounted for 23 points, the most of any player in the contest. Two more Jags (5-5) recorded double-digit figures with Jaylin Powell at 16 and Janelle Jones at 14.

Ashlyn Adkins was the leading scorer for Faulkner with 14 points. Morgan Holland had nine points for the night and six rebounds, sharing game-high honors in the latter category with Powell.
