The SF Giants are set to add a talented, flame-throwing reliever to their roster with the news that AAA standout Michael Broadway will join the 25-man roster. In a corresponding move per FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, slugger Hunter Pence is slated to hit the disabled list with wrist tendinitis:

Broadway has pitched 11 minor league seasons, but after striking out 39 batters in just 26.2 innings this year at AAA, both he and his mid- to upper-90s fastball are coming to The Show.
Conversely, Pence heads to the disabled list with tendinitis that is reportedly indirectly related to the broken bone he suffered in his wrist this spring. He is hitting .283 with two home runs and 13 RBIs in 18 games so far this season.
