The San Francisco 49ers coaching search is far from finished, but other teams are wrapping things up. The Miami Dolphins got a jump on everybody else by hiring Adam Gase last weekend, and he is quickly filling out his staff. Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday that Cincinnati Bengals secondary coach Vance Joseph will take over as Dolphins defensive coordinator. The Dolphins also announced on Tuesday that former 49ers offensive line coach Chris Foerster had agreed to become their line coach.
The Joseph news is not surprising, but is worth noting. He was connected to Gase shortly after the Dolphins hired the Bears offensive coordinator.
