The San Francisco 49ers have hosted the late Monday Night Football game each of the last two years on the NFL's opening weekend, but that doesn't seem to be the case this year.
Mike Klis of 9News in Denver reports that the Broncos are scheduled to host that game against the LA Chargers, via David Fucillo of SB Nation:
The most notable rumor slightly connected to the 49ers comes out of Denver. Broncos beat writer Mike Klis is reporting the Denver Broncos are expected to open the 2017 season at home vs. the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football.

This is noteworthy because given the mountain time zone involved, there is a good chance this is the late Monday Night Football game. The 49ers have played that game the last two years, and have had to follow it up with a trip east to one of the teams that had played the Thursday kickoff game.
Reports have indicated that the 49ers will play the Seahawks in Seattle in Week 2 and will host the Giants in Week 10.
The NFL is set to release the full 2017 schedule at 8:00 pm ET tonight.
