49ers getting some good news in regards to Kwon Alexander who could return to the field earlier than expected. Alexander suffered a torn pectoral muscle on November 1st which resulted in him being placed on IR. Apparently, HC Kyle Shanahan thinks that there is a small outside chance that Kwon could be healthy by the postseason and could contribute for this 49er defense. 2020 Pro Bowl selections were announced on Tuesday. The San Francisco 49ers had four players selected as starters, including DL Nick Bosa, FB Kyle Juszczyk, TE George Kittle and CB Richard Sherman. Arik Armstead, DeForest Buckner, Jimmy Garoppolo, Raheem Mostert, Weston Richburg, Joe Staley, Jimmie Ward and Fred Warner were selected as alternates.

The 49ers did make a waiver claim for pass rusher Terrell Suggs. Suggs was released by the Cardinals a week ago and went through waivers. The Chiefs had the worst record of all the teams that submitted a waiver request so Suggs is headed to Kansas City. The 49ers did, in fact, make a waiver claim for Suggs.
