The San Francisco 49ers have major decisions to make on 2014 starting cornerbacks Chris Culliver and Perrish Cox, but the huge market projected for Culliver in free agency may end up making up the 49ers' minds for them.
Per NBC Washington's Dianna Russini, Culliver is one of the top cornerback targets on the upcoming market for several NFL teams:
49ers Chris Culliver is one of the most sought after corners. Expect a big time deal. Graded high on many teams, per multiple team sources

Culliver finished 2014 with a flourish, ending up with four interceptions and two in the team's last two games. While the 49ers will have some extra cap space to play with after the expected release of wide receiver Stevie Johnson, it doesn't seem likely that the 49ers will be willing to commit the cap room necessary to keep Culliver in-house.
If that's indeed the case, expect San Francisco to continue on with on-roster options such as Tramaine Brock and Dontae Johnson and/or do some work in the 2015 NFL Draft.
