SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Spurs announced it plans to hold out guard Tony Parker from the team's Thursday matchup at Phoenix due to soreness in his right hip.
Parker left San Antonio's 112-83 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday due to hip soreness with 3:48 left in the third quarter, and didn't return to action. Spurs coach Gregg Popovich hasn't divulged the severity of Parker's injury.
"I haven't talked to him," Popovich said after Sunday's game.
