A tough schedule is about to get even tougher. The Kings announced today that Rudy Gay and Rajon Rondo both had precautionary MRIs taken today and while neither revealed serious injuries, both players could miss extended periods of time.

Sacramento Kings forward Rudy Gay and guard Rajon Rondo each underwent precautionary MRIs today at Kaiser Permanente in Roseville.
The procedures indicated a right shoulder strain for Gay and a sprained right thumb for Rondo (who was previously listed on injury reports with right thumb tendonitis).
