DeMarcus Cousins is continuing to make his mark on Sacramento Kings history.
Last night, he was at it again by recording a game-high 42 points in Chicago. That performance made him the franchise’s All-Time leader with 40 or more points scored in a single outing. With seven such games under his belt, he surpassed Mitch Richmond and Kevin Martin, who both had six contests of 40 or more points during their tenures as Kings.
Last night’s game was the second biggest scoring outburst this season by Cousins. Earlier this year, the 26-year-old superstar dropped 55 in a thrilling victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.
