Fresh off of his second consecutive All-Star selection, DeMarcus Cousins continued to remind everyone – especially the Denver Nuggets – why he was chosen.
Boogie dropped a game-high 37 points and also grabbed a game-high 20 rebounds en route to Sacramento’s 116-110 triumph over Denver.
Not only was this DMC’s 32nd double-double this season, but it was also the 9th time in his career where he’s notched at least 20 points and 20 rebounds.
Besides adding to his own resumé, Big Cuz also joined some special company with his big performance. Cousins became just the 12th player since the 1983-84 season to pile in at least 37 points, 20 rebounds, and four blocks and was the first player to do so since Minnesota’s Kevin Garnett accomplished this feat back in 2003.
