On a day when a high school senior from Florida announced that he is re-opening his recruitment, Rutgers interim head coach Norries Wilson indicated that there's no reason to think it will result in a rash of decommitments.
Asked to describe the sense he gets from prospects on the recruiting trail with regards to the recent suspension of Rutgers head coach Kyle Flood, Wilson offered an optimistic view just before stepping into an unspecified high school for a recruiting visit.
"The sense that I get is that the ones that are committed are still with us,'' Wilson said, "(and) the ones that have interest in us are still very interested in us.
