In the wake of the 2012 NFL referee lockout, the so-called replacement officials are proving to be a complete disaster. In only a few pre-season games, it has already become quite evident that these replacements are no way near the same quality as the real thing.
For example, in last nights game between Atlanta and Baltimore one of the referees sounded like a blubbering idiot on the mic and then awarded the ball to a team that wasn't even playing in the game.
So if the NFL wants to save themselves the bad PR of players and fans vigorously complaining about these atrocious refs, they need to strike a deal with the real officials ASAP.
