Female athletes such as Hope Solo, Serena Williams, and Swin Cash have headlined the last few years. For the fellas, ESPN typically runs with the attention-grabbing approach: a few years ago, it was goalkeeper/American hero Tim Howard. Last year, 78 year old golfing legend Gary Player stripped down, and this year, Texas Rangers first baseman Prince Fielder made the cover, weighing in at 275 pounds.
