Before Trail Blazers practice in Oakland on Tuesday, center Jusuf Nurkic shared with the media that he's feeling better, but will not play in Game 2 vs. the Warriors on Wednesday.
Nurkic said he will continue to take things "day by day," and the decision is "more about not risking anything."
"It's the worst feeling ever," the 22-year-old said about having to sit out instead of playing.
Portland announced on March 31 that Nurkic had a non-displaced fibular fracture in his right leg and would be out for at least two weeks.
