Through the first five rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers have yet to draft a quarterback, including passing on Colorado star quarterback Shedeur Sanders three different times.
They also don’t have an official answer from 41-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers, either. But for Steelers’ head coach Mike Tomlin, he feels good about the plan at the position for the Black and Gold, even if he understands the angst from the media and the fanbase regarding the position in the Steel City.
Appearing on NFL Network for an interview with the likes of Rich Eisen, Charles Davis and Daniel Jeremiah, Tomlin stated that he feels good about the plan and understands the angst, and stated that he’s going to give the media the latitude to run with the idea that Rodgers is coming because the Steelers haven’t drafted a QB yet.
