Bell had been suspended for missing drug tests earlier this offseason. Bell had blamed the missed tests on a cell phone number change. Bell had appealed the suspension. He'll now return for Week 4 against the Chiefs.
Entering a contract year, Bell is one of the best running backs in the NFL. DeAngelo Williams will start while Bell is out.
In an injury and suspension shortened season last year, Bell 692 yards of total offense in only six games. In 2014, he had 2,215 on the ground and in the air with 11 TDs.
