The popular quarterback of Pittsburgh Steelers Ben Roethlisberger went through knee surgery last Wednesday to fix some meniscus damage that cause him some discomfort during the offseason games. According to head coach Mike Tomlin, the player was advised by the entire Pittsburgh Steelers team to go under the knife as they believe it can also benefit his health in the long run.
As their coach put it in these exact words: “ensure he will be completely healthy for the start of training camp.”
Hence, Roethlisberger had the knee surgery done and now is taking the time to recuperate so as to start preparing for late July’s training camp. There is a great chance which everyone is hoping for too that he be good as new come week one of the usual season.
It is as important for Big Ben to regain his full form and be prepared both physically and mentally. However, as of now, it cannot be helped that the media will create a big issue out of this knee surgery operation. So good luck Big Ben!
