The Phoenix Suns, for the second consecutive summer, are spending their days looking for someone to coach their team. After a one-year experiment, Frank Vogel was relieved of his duties on Thursday afternoon despite initially signing him to a five-year deal. The underachieving Suns had to land the blame somewhere, and the shoulders of Vogel is where it ultimately landed.
As a result, Mat Ishbia will soon be shaking hands with the third individual to coach his team in the 15 months since he arrived as the new owner of the organization.
The process of hiring a coach takes time and diligence, as we found out last off-season.
