Kevin Young, the associate head coach for the Phoenix Suns, is in his fourth season with the organization. He was a finalist a year ago for the head coaching job vacated by mentor Monty Williams, but the organization chose to go with Frank Vogel. Knowing that Young was more of an offensive mind, they kept him with the team by making him the highest-paid assistant in the league.
Young could be on the move, however, as he is one of the candidates who the Brooklyn Nets have an interest in.
Sources: Bucks championship coach Mike Budenholzer, Kings associate Jordi Fernandez and Suns associate Kevin Young have emerged among the finalists for the Brooklyn Nets head coaching job.
