In this breaking Suns news update, the Phoenix Suns are close to completing a sign-and-trade with the Sacramento Kings for dynamic young point guard Isaiah Thomas.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Kings would ink Thomas to a four-year deal before shipping the 25-year-old to the Valley of the Sun:

Per Wojnarowski, Thomas' days with the Kings were numbered - a development that could end up benefiting the Suns greatly going forward:
Isaiah Thomas and Kings had run course together. They didn't want to make him starter. He didn't want to stay. Great fit as 6th man w/ Suns.

Thomas joins a loaded backcourt in Phoenix headlined by 2013-14 NBA Most Improved Player Goran Dragic, giving Suns head coach Jeff Hornacek a wealth of intriguing rotation options going forward.
