The Baltimore Orioles' have been targeting outfield bats for weeks now in advance of today's MLB Trade Deadline, and their search seems to have stopped (for now) on speedy Philadelphia Phillies center fielder Ben Revere.
Per a source cited by Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports, the Orioles' chances of landing Revere with hours to go until the MLB Trade Deadline are akin to a coin flip:
#Phillies’ Revere still possible for #Orioles. One source says it’s 50-50.

Revere, 27, is slashing .298/.344/.374 this year with one home run, 26 RBI and 24 stolen bases to his credit.
While he'll never be a power threat, Revere's an effective singles hitter who has a knack for finding holes on ground balls through the infield and who serves as a dangerous baserunner when does manage to work his way on base. He's making $4.1 million in the first year of his three-season run through arbitration.
