On today's Philadelphia Eagles Now, Thomas Mott took a look at four candidates that could take a step back for the Eagles in 2020. Not everybody can have breakout, or 'step-up' seasons, and Mott is looking at DeSean Jackson, Rodney McLeod, Brandon Graham, and Andre Dillard as potential players that fit.
Dillard could easily lose his starting job at left tackle in 2020. Graham finished the 2019 NFL season with 8.5 sacks. However, at the age of 32, he'll be battling for playing time with younger DEs like Josh Sweat who recorded 4 sacks in limited playing time in 2019. Jackson was signed by the Eagles in free agency last season, however, injuries plagued his return to Philadelphia and caused him to miss the majority of the season. With the addition of Jalen Reagor, Marquise Goodwin and Quez Watkins, does the veteran get crowded out?

The Eagles traded for Darius Slay this offseason which has dramatically improved the Eagles secondary, however, the addition of rookie K’Von Wallace and FA signing Will Parks have big implications on the aging McLeod, who must continue to play well in 2020.
