The deal between these two teams can not go through until the new league year starts next Tuesday.
There had been some tension between the Eagles and McCoy surrounding a long-term extension, and the trade indicates that the Bills are willing to pay the former All-Pro running back a lot of money to keep him in Buffalo long-term. He ran for 1,319 yards and five touchdowns for Philadelphia last season.
Alonso played for Eagles head coach Chip Kelly at Oregon. He had an outstanding rookie campaign in 2013, recording 159 tackles with two sacks and four interceptions, but missed all of last season with a torn ACL.
